Savage Opens Transloading Operation at the TLF Center
Industries in the Quad Cities now have access to rail transloading services
Salt Lake City, UT - October 25, 2016 – Savage today introduced bulk material handling and rail transloading services at the Trans Load Facility (TLF) in Davenport, IA. Located in the heart of the Quad Cities, the TLF is uniquely positioned to serve this region by rail. Savage has extensive experience transloading, managing logistics and operating rail terminals that handle multiple commodities.
This new Savage operation benefits from TLF’s 10 acres of property. The TLF has direct access to the CP Class 1 rail line and over 20 railcar spots and 20,000 square feet of indoor warehousing with indoor railcar and truck loading/unloading. Savage’s transload services include the handling, loading and distribution of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
